Who are we?
We are artisan producers of 100% freshly frozen spelt grass juice. Homegrown-Wheatgrass UK has been established by Richard and Agi.
Our passion for wheatgrass goes years back. Agi’s mum started growing it in Hungary and feeding it to Agi’s dad first when he became a cancer patient and had two sessions of unsuccessful radio therapy treatments in 2006.
Will my wheatgrass arrive frozen?
Yes, the wheatgrass is frozen straight after juicing and will arrive frozen to you as we use appropriate packaging and an overnight courier service – Read Terms & Conditions for further delivery details!

How do I consume this product?
Transfer the product into a freezer on delivery. Keep your wheatgrass in the original packaging it arrives in and reseal the pouch after every use. Take out only as much as you want to drink at a time first thing in the morning and defrost it just before you want to have it, don’t let it thaw overnight! You can speed up the process with placing the shot pot in a bowl of warm water and shake it freequently. Drink it whilst still cold straight after defrosting.
How much do I need to consume?
For general health being we recommend a daily amount of 1 shot, but there’s no upper limit. If you are supporting a treatment of a health issue with wheatgrass, taking 2 or more shots at a time could be more beneficial. Wheatgrass is not medicine.It is good for everyone and there are no harmful side effects to it.
